Our Vision:

To increase people’s understanding of the Bible, worldwide, so they develop a deeper, more passionate love for God and others, while strengthening the local church.

Our Mission:

To equip and encourage people to fall in love with the Word of God, so they fall more in love with the God of the Word.

Ministry Description:

A ministry committed to helping followers of Jesus grasp at a deeper level the truths of God’s Word through teaching, training and writing. This ministry is based upon a conviction that the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to produce men and women of God who can then help others grow as men and women of God. This ministry is committed to modeling the importance of expository teaching (verse-by-verse through books of the Bible) that is practical and engaging, and an inductive approach (observe, interpret and apply) to studying the Bible. This ministry is not intended to replace participation in the local church but is a resource of spiritual encouragement to the church.
How we got the name

"Uncaged"...

Pastor Tony had just ended a very fruitful ministry, but one that had a challenging end. Tony knew God was still calling him to teach the Word, but he was unsure of how or where God was calling him to do that. During this time of confusion, Tony kept thinking about something Charles Spurgeon, the famous British preacher, said in a sermon: "The Word of God is like a caged lion... it simply needs to be let out of its cage."

And that's when God revealed the word "Uncaged". Through years of ministry, through the good and the bad, the one constant was always seeing the power of God's Word let loose in people's lives. Pastor Tony felt the Lord was calling him to start a ministry that focused on helping others let loose the power of God's Word in their lives. We pray God will work through this ministry to let loose the "Lion" in all of our lives.
A little about me...

Tony Tice

I grew up more or less going to church (more on the less side as I entered middle school and high school). I had made a confession of faith when I was little at a children's church program called "Royal Rangers". But looking back, it was really just being scared of going to hell. At the end of my junior year of high school, I realized that I knew about God but I didn't really know Him. In my bedroom at night I prayed and asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. He radically changed my life that night and I've never looked back with regret.

I had a youth pastor who discipled me and got me into reading the Bible daily. Then as a young Christian I went off to Bible college and took a life changing class called "Principles of Bible Study". At the time I didn't realize how much that early exposure to God's Word would alter the whole course of my life. I fell in love with God's Word, and more importantly I fell more in love with the God of the Word. I was a kid who had to take speech classes because I struggled with pronunciation and I was terrified to speak in front of others.

And yet when God got ahold of my life and I began to feast on the meat of God's Word, He gave me a calling to teach the Bible to others so they could also discover the joy and depth of a walk with God that comes from discovering who He is as revealed in His Word. I've had the privilege of being a pastor for just shy of three decades. He has allowed me to preach at three of the largest churches in America and in some of the most remote places in the world. I've taught God's Word to the masses and I've taught it to small groups of people in places like the Philippians, Ukraine, Ecuador, and many other countries. I've had the privilege of seeing thousands come to Christ through preaching His Word. I've seen God take the teaching ministries I've lead to many giving their lives to full-time ministry. I've seen marriages restored and addictions defeated.

I share this, not because there's anything special about me, but because there's something very special about the Word of God. It is the very Words of God. And I want to spend the remainder of my time on earth before I meet my Savior, helping people go beyond the shallow teaching of our day, and dive deeply into the riches of His Word. I am committed to people seeing the great benefit of expository teaching and inductive Bible Study. I have seen now for three years the Spirit of God taking the Word of God to produce men and women of God. My mission, and the mission of this ministry is clear... We want people to fall more in love with the Word of God, so they fall more in love with the God of the Word.
